Black, white & plaid all over.

------------------

Oh hey guys, it's Friday! ...and this is my Friday getup. Comfy, simple, and all my favorite things wrapped into one look! As much as I love dressing up and wearing heels, my Nike's and ripped jeans are my bread and butter. It's also so much easier to chase after a darting one year old in the middle of Target when I'm wearing tennis shoes over 5 inch heels... hashtag#momproblems.
I hope you all have a fabulous Friday!

"Must-have" pieces

------------------

Look #2 styling this fab turtleneck sweater! I decided since I get so many questions on specific pieces that I consider being "must-haves" I would share one of my favorites and style it a few fun ways! This winter I invested in a few really great fitting, cozy turtleneck sweaters, and they were a few of the best things I bought all season! I got this same sweater in black and between the two I probably wear at least one a week, if not more! This neutral look is a favorite, especially with the minimal navy accents with these fun New Balance shoes and the bag
What is your must-have winter piece?!

Downtown Chic

Free People Sweater (Also love THIS) // ASOS Skirt

----------------

Monday, I'm actually slightly looking forward to you. After having a sick babe over the weekend, we're ready for a fun day off with Dad and playing at the Aquarium! Fortunately little girl started feeling much better yesterday but Friday and Saturday were pretty rough (hence, me struggling on the blogging front)! Thank heavens for essential oils and a tough little girl! Since I had a little time though, I figured it was about time for an outfit post! Today's look couldn't be any more "mommy friendly". I finally broke down a bought a pair (or three) of New Balance sneakers because I had heard wondrous things about them, and they truly are a Mom's best friend! I wear these bad boys ev.ery.where and with ev.ery.thing! With workout clothes? Yes. Jeans? Of course. Skirts?! Absolutely! You can't really go wrong. In other words, if you're looking for a new pair of kicks that you can rock with everything, you now know my pick!
Have a great Monday and check back tomorrow to find out how I rocked this fab Free People turtleneck for a second comfy look!

Love you baby...

Olivia's Look: Baseball Tee & Jeans via H&M // Pink Moccs // Pier28 Beanie

------------------------

Hello cutest baby jeans ever! I have always loved H&M's baby clothes, but now that Olivia is starting to fit into the toddler sizes they've only gotten cuter! This was the cutest Valentine's Day outfit, especially with the cute baseball tee! I'm also loving my comfy H&M denim. There were so many cute styles to pick from but I finally settled on the 'Skinny High Jeans' because I love the fit and how great they make me feel in them! I was never quite on board with the high waisted jeans until I actually owned a pair, now I need them in every color! Especially with cropped and shorter tee's coming back in style, they are a must for every girl!
How are you feeling about the high waisted jean trend?!

Last Valentine's Day look!

----------------------

Friday...and the day before Valentine's Day! This look is one most of you will most likely have some version of for a last minute Valentine's Day look! You're probably thinking this doesn't look anything like a Valentine's Day outfit, and you're right, this is probably the least conventional Valentine's Day look. However this is probably something that I will really be wearing for the night out! This is perfect for the girl who doesn't do a lot of pink or red and who doesn't go all out with a dress or skirt, but still wants to look chic and classy!
Whatever you're wearing, have the most fabulous Valentine's Day!! XO
